AIR Corp announces a strategic funding round led by SOSV — one of the world's most active deep-tech venture funds — alongside a commitment from the Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED), affirming AIR Corp's position at the forefront of autonomous robotics and infrastructure innovation.
This milestone investment accelerates AIR Corp's mission to bring autonomous, AI-powered infrastructure inspection to the nation's bridges, dams, and steel structures, replacing dangerous, costly, and inconsistent manual processes with a safer and more accurate solution.
The funding will drive growth across three core areas to unlock the full capabilities of InfraGuard:
- Scaling the InfraGuard hardware and software platform. Expanding production of the EddyClimber climbing robot and AIR Corp's sensor suite for real-world deployments across civil, military, and research infrastructure.
- Accelerating AI model development. Deepening the InfraGuard AI processing engine to improve defect detection, digital twin fidelity, and autonomous navigation across complex infrastructure environments.
- Growing partnerships with government and industry. Leveraging relationships with NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Department of Transportation to secure inspection contracts and expand AIR Corp's national footprint.
Support from SOSV and Nevada GOED reflects both AIR Corp's leadership in autonomous inspection robotics and a shared belief in a future where infrastructure is maintained safer, faster, and smarter.
